Authenticity Complain | UAE Market
28Issue A client received an authenticity complaint on their product listing in the UAE market, causing their product to be flagged and removed due to concerns about counterfeit items.
Solutions
I identified the root cause of the issue as missing, insufficient, or incomplete proof of product authenticity along with a lack of properly structured supporting documentation required by Amazon compliance policies. This resulted in listing suppression and restricted visibility, particularly within the UAE marketplace, where strict authenticity verification standards are enforced.
To resolve this, I conducted a detailed review of all compliance requirements and gathered the necessary documentation to establish full product legitimacy. This included valid purchase invoices, supplier agreements, manufacturer details, and authenticity certificates, ensuring that every document clearly verified the product’s origin and supply chain transparency.
I then organized and formatted the documentation according to Amazon Seller Central guidelines, making sure all details were consistent, accurate, and aligned with the product listing information. This step was critical in eliminating any discrepancies that could trigger further compliance flags or delays in approval.
After compiling a complete and compliant documentation package, I submitted it for Amazon review along with the necessary listing updates. As a result, the listing was successfully reinstated, product authenticity was fully verified, and the item regained visibility in the UAE marketplace.
This resolution not only restored sales activity for the client but also strengthened account health, improved compliance standing, and ensured long-term listing stability under Amazon’s authenticity and documentation policies.
