Compliance Issue | USA
59Issue A client faced a listing compliance issue on Amazon USA, where their product was removed due to violations of Amazon’s policies or regulatory standards for the category.
Solutions
I identified the root cause as incorrect product labeling, missing mandatory disclosures, and non-compliance with Amazon’s category-specific requirements, which led to listing suppression and restricted sales visibility.
To resolve this issue, I conducted a detailed compliance audit of the product listing, carefully reviewing Amazon’s policies for the relevant category. This included verifying labeling accuracy, checking required safety or regulatory disclosures, and ensuring all mandatory product information fields were properly completed according to Amazon’s standards.
Next, I corrected the listing by updating product labels, adding missing disclosures, and aligning all content with Amazon’s compliance requirements, including category-specific guidelines and marketplace policy rules. I ensured that all product information was accurate, transparent, and properly formatted to meet both customer expectations and Amazon’s policy framework.
I also restructured the listing to improve clarity, completeness, and policy adherence, ensuring that all backend attributes, product identifiers, and compliance-related fields were correctly configured. Where necessary, I included additional documentation and supporting details to validate compliance during the review process.
After completing the updates, I resubmitted the listing for Amazon review with all required corrections and documentation, ensuring full transparency and policy alignment.
As a result, the product was successfully reinstated, restoring its active status on Amazon. This enabled the client to resume sales without disruption while maintaining full compliance with Amazon’s listing and regulatory standards, ensuring long-term account stability and reduced risk of future suppression.
