Listing Backend Issue | Morocco
71Issue A client from Morocco faced a backend issue in the USA marketplace, where their product listing was not appearing correctly or had issues due to missing or incorrect backend data, such as SKU, product identifiers (UPC/GTIN), or fulfillment settings.
Solutions
I identified the root cause as incomplete or improperly configured backend data, including incorrect product identifiers (UPC/GTIN/FNSKU) and misconfigured fulfillment settings (FBA/FBM), which disrupted catalog indexing and affected listing performance in the Amazon USA marketplace. These inconsistencies prevented proper synchronization with Amazon’s catalog system, reducing visibility and causing operational inefficiencies.
To resolve this, I performed a detailed backend audit of the listing to identify all data mismatches. I corrected inaccurate product identifiers, ensured proper GTIN/UPC alignment, and verified that the ASIN was correctly matched within Amazon’s catalog. Additionally, I reviewed and updated fulfillment settings to ensure accurate configuration between FBA and FBM, preventing shipping and inventory sync issues.
I also optimized backend attributes such as product type, category mapping, and variation relationships (if applicable) to ensure full compliance with Amazon USA listing standards. After implementing all corrections, I re-synced the listing with Amazon’s system to ensure proper indexing and functionality.
As a result, the listing was successfully updated and fully synchronized, restoring visibility in search results, improving catalog accuracy, and ensuring smooth functionality in the Amazon USA marketplace. This optimization enhanced SEO performance, improved customer accessibility, and strengthened overall sales potential.
