The primary challenge for this launch was rooted in incomplete documentation and a general unfamiliarity with the complexities of Amazon’s registration process. Specifically, the client faced hurdles with identity verification and tax interview configurations, which often lead to immediate account suspensions if handled incorrectly. To resolve this, I performed a comprehensive audit of the client’s legal documents to ensure they matched the exact utility bill and business license requirements mandated by Amazon Seller Central.
Moving forward, I provided a step-by-step guidance framework to navigate the "SIV" (Seller Identity Verification) phase. This involved meticulous preparation of bank statements and government IDs to ensure zero discrepancies in the data. Furthermore, I assisted in configuring the backend account settings, including shipping templates and deposit methods, to ensure the account was "retail ready" from day one. By managing these technical details, I removed the friction that typically stalls new seller applications.
Ultimately, this strategic oversight led to a successful account activation without any "Know Your Customer" (KYC) flags. The client was able to start their Amazon business smoothly, moving straight into inventory sourcing and listing creation.
